27th August to 2nd Sept
27th Galveston - I'm port manning but Melinda gave me her ID so I could go out in Galveston. Angelique and I wanted to go to the cafe called EAT, but it was too early. So we had coffee and Internet at MOD. Once we had wasted an hour until opening time we headed to EAT. I had a pear and cheese salad, that I ate there, then I ordered a sandwich to go. When you find good food you take advantage of it!

31st Sea Day - finished port manning
1st Galveston. - I did liquor pick up then went out to get our stores. I used to get the stores on Sensation and Splendor but it's a new task for me on this ship. I had to verify the seal on the delivery truck, verify the number of pallets matched the paperwork, watch the drug dog sniff all the pallets, then watch the pallets be moved from the warehouse to the dock and from the dock to the ship. Just as I though I was done, they yelled at me from the warehouse that another shipmeant had arrived. The first shipme to was from our company distribution centre,the second was a shipment direct from the vendor.
Once I was finished with the pallets then I had to go to the safety office to change my emergency card. I was a stairway guide with three of my colleagues and then I was assigned to a crew life raft. Now I'm stationed in a guest muster station and I get to be a in a life boat with 150 other people.
I then escaped the ship and headed to Mods coffee house. I didn't really need to do anything or go anywhere I just wanted off the ship.
2nd Sea Day
It was my grandmother's 98th birthday this week. Happy Birthday Nan. I wasn't home so My friend and my family took her out for lunch.
