Yep, still working on the office, but we can now see light at the end of the tunnel. Today we sorted through all the electronic stuff we had accumulated in the office. We had old keyboards, film cameras, printers, CPU's, laptops, PDA's, phones, answering machines. Yes, answering machines. Who knows where that came from, and why it moved from the house to the flat to the townhouse with us.
Now it's all gone. I took it to the Encorp Return-It depot. Never to be seen again. That's 2 big boxes of stuff that has been decluttered from the office. We can actually see floor.
I also found a box full of prescription and over the counter medications. All of them expired. By a few years. Why they were being kept in the office rather than in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, I have no bloody idea. Did you know that most pharmacies in BC accept old medications for safe disposal at no cost under the Return Expired Medications Program? I didn't, but now I do. Another box of stuff gone.
Next up we have a bunch of items to list on Ebay or Craigslist. An iPod, an iPhone 3G, a canon digital camera, a portable DVD player and a Gemeinhardt flute. We've found a taker for all the DVD's, we just need to get them into iTunes first.
Hopefully I'll be done with the office before Christmas.
