Julieta Toledo

Julieta Toledo is a silver artist from Taxco, Mexico.

I first found her work in Penticton, BC of all places.

Her work is inspired by nature.  I have this piece - Waves. Which is appropriate, my camp name was Waves.

I would like the Galaxy as a pendant. So far I've only been able to find it as a necklace.  I dont need/want the chain, just the pendant.

So far I've been able to find her work here, here, here, the pottery shop in penticton and a small selection on ebay.

Like jewelry is high on my 'need to pay of debt' budget, but I can drool.

In my Dreams

Back last month when I was doing my christmas shopping, I found some awesome stuff.  I had trouble packing it all up and sending it off.  I wanted to keep it all for me!

Here's some stuff I would have loved to add to my shopping cart,  if I earned about 10 times what I do now. 

Isn't this the cutest cuckoo clock?  It just appealed to me.  It can be yours for only $395.00.

I love the underwater theme of this silver cuff.  See the star fish?  Isn't it gorgeous?  Add it to your jewelry box for $400.00. 

We need two lamps for our living room.  And I found these trocadero lamps.  Couldn't decide on the colour.  Turquoise or yellow?  They're $400.00 each.  Maybe next year.

Like travelling? Need a stylish new suitcase?  This fits the bill nicely - flowers on the outside and bright orange on the inside.  It's a samonsite, so it'll last forever.  It should for $475.00.

But there's only 600 of them world wide, so no-one else would accidently take it off the luggage belt.

Anyone need a night light?  This egg is adorable, and it throws stars around the room.  It's only $125.00

I need to win lotto!  But to do that, I'd actually have to buy some tickets.

Now for something a litte more realistic.  A pair of these Ibiza lanterns is on my christmas list. The small large one is $21.95 and the small is $13.95 at wrapables.

These fork and spoon from Etsy seller Modern Art Everyday would be great in our kitchen.  I could hang them between the two windows, where the strawberry print is now.  What do you think? $65.00.
